This is by far and away one of the most exciting natural "raft style" bonsai in the world. In 1988 it was dug from a farmer's paddock in Gippsland Victoria where it had been grazed for many years by cattle. Over the years it has passed through the hands of a few owners but it is the present owner who has brought the tree to its current state of perfection.
