Commonly call the Old Man Banksia this tree was bought as a small shrub at a nursery only about 6 or 7 years ago, and it has rewarded me with some good growth and excellent trunk thickening.

It currently sits in a hand made pot by Australian potter Viv and I think it suits the tree quite well. A few more years of development is needed but it is heading in the right direction.
