This tree was obtained a few years ago in Canberra but I do not know which variety it is. This is a result of a bit of slackness because I have not looked it up properly and it was taken from a garden so it may not even be a local species.

I have given it all the standard bonsai practices such as trimming, fertilizing, water, repotting and it has responded on each occasion. It has a very blue/green colour leaf but as yet has not flowered (which would assist with identification), the bark is a grey colour and it does peal off at certain times of the year. It shoots quite readily from the leaf axis so I think with some work over time the inter-nodal length will be reduced and it will be possible to reduce the leaf size. A smaller pot would be an improvement and that will happen at the next repotting.
