A LITTLE POMEGRANATE CURIO

Some years ago I was out walking the dog and came across a pomegranate fruit that had split open (as they do) so I took it home with the intent of growing a few plants from seed.

From the one fruit I got four seedlings, one I decided to grow separately and three I decided to try and grow in a twisted trunk style.

The following photos are of the intended twisted trunk style which is still under construction and will be for another couple of years, but the interesting thing about this plant is that it flowers and this season has developed a fruit. I let the fruit grow just to get a photo and then I cut the fruit off to allow more energy onto the growing aspect of the plant.

With no further ado a couple of photos of the tree in development, and of course the fruit.
