Noticed some talk about Arbutus Unedo(Strawberry Bush Irish) some time ago but little since. Obtained one through Craig at local club CBS. Has been left in same position Winter & Summer and grows beatifully producing loads of flowers but no fruit. It is a Shohin so maybe fruit some years off.

moving from Sydney to Melbourne. Best place to locate my new "Bonsaiery" is under a very large Cyprus Pine. I will have a watering system in place. Was wondering if the pine needles are going to be a problem for the soil in my pots. Do the needles produce a "toxin" which is not suited to this being a good location. Judy
