This is for Redsonic and Pierre, so they can see how this tree is going now! The other one decided to turn its toes up, reason unknown...

Thanks Peter!
I think it has some potential, I sure hope I can make the most out of it.

Lucky I took this photo yesterday, because the rain knocked the flower off, and it was gone today...

That’s a beautiful tree, it’s actually hard for me to imagine it came from those original photos a year and a bit ago.
Amazing! Nice work.. I’m assuming it’s Mel?

Here's the Murraya as it is now. I haven't trimmed the foliage since Autumn, and it hasn't been root pruned either.... It's alive, and seems happy!

Excellent thread that I've just come across; thanks fo posting Mel - it is interesting to see how someone's hedge becomes someone else's bonsai. Progressing well too!
Tending bonsai teaches me patience.

This is a really good story, the progression I mean, but an even better result. Your project is coming along terrific and looks to have a very bright future.
I would say that this tree (and hopefully the others from the original dig) have been saved - similar to adopting a rescue puppy.
The next step is to see it on display?

Looking great Mel, and as Watto says, so rewarding to have rescued this tree!
