MelB - nearly all of those trees are a whole new level of brilliant. I just keep going back and looking at them ... thanks so much for posting them.
....edit.... and nearly all my favourite single trees ... here and in general - have some form of drop-branch in their design and/or are planted to one side and wangle and wind across to the other. Not sure why I am attracted to trees like that but I am!
And R3 - yes, I do like the path and the little man in one of the photos too. He must have strolled out from one of my groups and found a place he’d rather be!
