Taken as a substantial cutting in 2014.
Potted into a massive pot and grown up, up and up ever since as a decorative tree for the back terrace.
Was dual trunk and dead straight boring for a while. But – has developed a bunch of aerial roots in the last 1-2 years and they have filled out to make quite a substantial trunk – really getting some girth across it now and will only continue as the aerials fill in more.
I think will make a great twin trunk once branch development gets underway.
I would personally cut it back right down, but have left a bit of length in the trunks for the new owner to decide.
Don’t worry that there are no branches on it (they were right up the top, which has been lopped), it will re-shoot – guaranteed.
Root flare starting to come along nicely.
Note battery (AA) in pics for size – she is a big sucker.
Pick up from Inner West Sydney on weekends.
$180.
