Very long shot indeed but i'm searching for a few Japanese Maple cultivars to add to my ever growing collection.
A couple can be had with a drive to Yamina, a couple I found I can source interstate, but worth trying locally first i guess:
Acer Palmatum Seigen
Acer Palmatum Komachi Hime
Acer palmatum Kashima
Acer Palamtum Otome Zakura

I'm not sure if you are on Facebook but there is a group called Japanese maples Australia and a guy in Melbourne called Ash who sells a heap of different varieties, some I'd previously never heard of, such as peach mikawa (?) You could try there.

Going to throw Beni Chidori into this list though i'm not sure it's even in Australia!
I think Seigen might be sorted (thanks SuperBonSaiyan) and i recently picked up an established bonsai i believe is Komachi Hime, or at least close enough to it that i'm not overly chasing another one now.
Still hunting Kashima and Otome Zakura, though Kashima will be easily obtainable once Yamina restocks them
