Hi pjames , thanks mate . All the flowers have gone , now its trimming time to keep these under control . A couple have already shot more than half metre and looking for a support to climb . I need to wire others before they get too thick

All hope is not lost, the tree that threw a summer flower is going to give me at least 7 or 8 blooms soon! I am stoked, because I'd given up on it, and root pruned it very severely at the beginning on Spring, the potted it into a pot that would be an eighth of the size of the pot it was in!
I've entered Ray M's fertilising details into my calendar, so hopefully from here on in, this plant will continue to please. :)

Always a pleasure to see your flowering plants, Alpine, hope you're getting lots more Wisteria to flower.

Hi Mel ' , 6 out of the 7 potted wisteria had a flower or two , the ground growing plants missed a beat this year . Hoping for a real good display next year .

The big specimen was only fertilized with Rustica plus , being extremely high in N.P.K certainly didn't effect the flowering ability , the others are only young plants but did flower and several of the purples flowered 2-3 times last season .

That's good to read that you had such good results. Gotta wonder why the ground-grown tree didn't flower, is it just too young?

Hi Mel' , the ground growing stock was last years root cutting so I didn't expect any flowers just basic trunk development . All are white or pinks , have to wait and see.
