+1 - just came across this thread and would love to see how things have progressed if possible. I love your 'guts' in creating this whole design and if that root mass could have been reduced and somehow more seamlessly incorporated with a staggeringly good looking rock - wow!

Any update would be great.
Tending bonsai teaches me patience.

Thanks for your interest in this tree !

Unfortunately I can’t update you on it, it was sold about a year or 2 after the last update, one whom I don’t have contact with unfortunately.
It’s always cool to see pictures of these earlier works, they tend to leave the forefront of your mind after a while!
