Thanks Mark, Terry and Beano, I'm really looking forward to bringing this into shape now, it's been causing me a bit of heartache for quite awhile, then it struck me that Mike's "Golden rules" and Watto's "get rid of the boring stuff" really needed to be looked at more closely. :)

Another year, another container....and another mistake when potting... /sigh
I need to swing it around a little and tilt it a bit more forward I suspect....

Millimetres matter but perhaps at the margin of your own high standards. I find this tree supremely attractive as it sits right now! Good job - I can almost feel the crisp morning air and the autumn breeze blowing through this tree...
