A few yamadori privet
Here's some of my yamadori ligustrum from the last 6 months. All still at the early stages. I'll keep you posted as they develop.

Thanks. I've found an amazing farm...it's thick with these guys. It's been heavily pastures by con and no slashing for a couple of decades...gold mine for a privet lover

Some really nice material there Sam! Great bases and they all look very healthy.
There are some straight sections on some of them that stand out to me as needing bending or chopping back.
Have you seen the Privet at the NBPCA that was donated by Leigh Taafe? It would be very good inspiration for you.

Nice stock trees
As steven suggested, look at the straight bits and cut them back to create movement and / or taper
