Informal upright Juniper beginners class

Post by BB Brian »

Attempted to create my first own bonsai "tree in a pot" from nursery stock back in April.

In the 6 months, hard pruning, wire, light pruning wire removal, display table and an accent plant I managed a not so professional 2 point display and received 1st place for beginners class at the School of Bonsai show at Ray Nescis nursery over the weekend.

Super stoked!

Home sweet home.

Now I can't wait till next years show!

Here's a few amazing trees from the show in the intermediate, advanced and teachers bench.

Congratulations :hooray:

Looks like you have plenty of material to select from for next year :?:

Thanks for posting the pictures up for those of us that couldn't make it.

Very well done.
Always great to see some enthusiasm!
One of the fabulous things about growing bonsai is as you get old and decrepit your trees get old and beautiful
