Morning light is something else .... here ‘tis illuminating this little group of Chinese elms. The light caught my attention as I wandered past - so I took a closer photo. The little trees have settled back in to their landscape after repotting. ImageImage

Well done Mark, your tall focal trees around the crooked path and narrowing away leaves the mind wondering whats over the hill is excellent, your outer trees tilting ever so slightly away from the the main stage is very much on song (nailed it) and the detail to your slight hills with grasses and mosses (spelling) is wonderful, as said before you can not buy age on trunks that will come...thanks for showing looks pretty damn good to me.

cheers Anthony

This is becoming a really pleasing planting Mark. I see a little guy has found his way into it there in the corner.

Very useful reference for people thinking about their own groups for the forest competition too. Age and time will really bring it in in leaps and bounds because the interest is there in the planting already.

Looking good when you consider the age of the group, I look forward to seeing the progression over the next few years
