Hi all, just thought I would share a small leaf privet which has got to the point where I think it is looking like a proper bonsai.
I'm not sure how long I have had this for but I think it has to be at least three years. It was dug up from the side of the road and had a nice thick base but otherwise a taperless straight trunk.
I can't find any photos of it when it was first collected but I have some from after its first year in a grow box.

Good progress has been made over a few years, so congrats. Its on the way so it would be good if you could update this thread as it continues its journey.

What an excellent progression Si90.
Gee you and other people are clever; I find it difficult to picture (or create a future vision) of trees that have been collected and cut so boldly like this - yet you and other folk seemingly do it with ease. Good stuff please keep the updates coming.
