This is amazing. I had to take a pic of this before the rangers deal with it. The base of the trunk is over 2 metres in diameter. The tree is massive. It is a tree which is on the side of a national park walk that we do quite regularly. Recently there was a big storm which hit the Central Coast, and this is just one of the trees which bore its wrath.
Now... the top of the tree was broken right off in the storm, and it has landed down, then fallen back and stayed right up next to the trunk. The result is breath taking to see in real life. There is still a huge forked limb hanging vicariously from the intact limbs. If either of these land on you, its good night. My son was amazed when he saw this and the multitude of other smashed and fallen trees.
Massive tree damage - amazing result.

Spotted a tree at a party up in Dandenongs last weekend, with the top third of a 4 metre tree balancing on limb next to a cricket oval.
Told all the parents to watch there kids to not to go near tree.
