Casuarina in the wild - Whole tree's by the river

G'day native fans,

Following are some pictures of Casuarina cunninghamiana growing in their native habitat on my rural property. The tree's are estimated to be between 100 and 150 years old and some of the larger ones are over 2.5 meters diameter at the base.
This installment of pictures is focusing on the whole tree's in their natural habitat.
I encourage you to study the pictures and discuss elements that we could copy in our bonsai.

Again these are quite extraordinary especially numbers 16-17- 22.
They remind me so much of PINE trees of the northern hemisphere.
This proves some thing to me about Australian style. Steven you are so right when you have said the Casuarina is Australias pine

I would love to give a shot at making a river scene like Pic30 or 31

I thought These photo's might be of interest in the same vein, it is an A. torulosa of indeterminate age on my property with a fantastic shari-to-jin deadwood heart. Apologies for the phone camera quality.

Steven, inspirational! I'm envious not only the fact you have property (because I live in lego land )but the view is incredible. Some of those photos are worthy of a frame on the wall.

The Turon River is pure fresh water and inhabited with Yabbies, fresh water prawns, trout, Platypus and the odd bit of alluvial gold.
