Yeh Steve, I was impressed with this one. It was in a big Park in Leicestershire and as you can see by the photo here it was well looked after.
As oak trees go it must be ancient and has a history that warrents it being propped and protected.
Who knows how it got like that. Fire, rot (no termites in UK) lightning.
