Elaeocarpus ganitrus - Blue Marble Tree

Post by melbrackstone »

Inspired by PeterH's beautiful Elaeocarpus reticulatus - or Blueberry Ash, viewtopic.php?f=77&t=4748 I thought I'd share a couple of photos I took in a place called "Sacred Forest," on Kauai, Hawaii.

The forest was planted in the grounds of a monastery, and open to the public for meditation, picnics or just "enjoying the solitude of the only Rudraksha grove in America."

I know I've seen those red leaves at the Toowong botanical gardens... ;)

Hi

Thanks for sharing, I'll bet all the cares of the world dissipated after a while in there?
