Autumn in Japan

Seeing those beautiful trees that Bhodidharma posted reminded me of a trip to Japan in October a few years back. After looking at the photos from that holiday I thought it appropriate to share some of the beautiful gardens they have. The photos were taken in various locations, but mainly around Kyoto, Nagoya and Mt Fuji. Unfortunately I wasn't all that interested in Bonsai then, so there are no bonsai pics, sorry. I hope you enjoy these.

Bonsai or not they are very beautiful. The colours are so rich, very nice.

Thanks Ray, sometimes you just have to be lucky and be in the right place at the right time. The sun was just shining through a gap between trees to light up the little island with the trees on it. My personal favourite is the one of the pine branch with the red foliage in the background. It's amazing how the pine grows like that naturally, beats any wired branches I've seen.

Wow... This green-red-yellow trees are amazing. I like to draw the nature so I like these photos and wish I was there to draw them in real life
