Evening All,
I was cleaning up an old PC for my son & came across these photos I took of two old Gidgee trees. These are along the old May Downs road, Mount Isa Qld.
I would travel this road once every couple of weeks & would often stop off for a drink & smoko on my way to a remote meteorological station that I looked after.
I decided one day that I should get some decent pics of them, after bushfires had claimed a third big old one further down the road.
I hope they inspire someone to create something wonderful

Hi Muddy,
Thanks for a very inspirational image. Isn't it wonderful how Mother Nature can come up with a tree like the first pic and we mere bonsai enthusiasts strive for years to make something out of our trees, but it still doesn't surpass the "natural" one.
