Walking the dog... Tea Tree (I think)

Walking the dog in the park earlier ... here's some tea tree, I think.

It reminded me of something I started last year ... windswept Kunzea.

Yeah, I know they are small and pathetic'ish seedlings but wait a few years. :palm:

Inspiration can come from many places.

The trees your dog is inspecting look like Leptospemum laeviagatum - Coastal teatree. The trunks are great - something to aspire to though it may take some time for mine to reach that stage. These are quite easy to grow as bonsai but I hear they are very difficult to transplant so probably not worth knocking off wild trees. Tubestock is readily available and they do grow quite quickly.
