Gday gang. I currently have in my possession a nice little syzygium bush Christmas. I KNOW there's a bonsai in there somewhere but I'm having trouble seeing it. It's a bit sparse at the moment as the day I brought it home from the nursery it pretty much dropped every leaf it had. But bounced back nicely.
I'd love to hear some advice!

Re: Bush Christmas.
I'd start by feeding it up and reducing/cutting back to all the last green bits.
It should explode with growth and you can make some decisions.
I've found Syzgium heal cuts reasonably well too.

One of the fabulous things about growing bonsai is as you get old and decrepit your trees get old and beautiful
