I too would like to know this.. sounds like it could be a great product.. particularly as you say, they are black...The look of Osmocoat just annoys me, especially the native one with the bright blue pellets.

Clinton Nesci used this product today in a demonstration at the Bonsai by the Beach weekend put on by the Waughope Bonsai Club. He highly recommended it.
PS It's a great weekend for bonsai enthusiasts and I would highly recommend it for people to attend next year.

Hi all
I had a look at prices so if you decide to buy here are price comparisons so no one over pays.

Hope this helps.

I use this on my trees and they love it. I was also recommended to use Charlie Carp a local bonsai enthusiast.

Thanks all. You have to shop around a bit. You can get 2.5 kg for about 26 bucks. (and even that is not so cheap!)

They all have the blue pellets. They are wetting agent and dissolve after a few waterings. I will still use osmo as a ''set and forget'' fertilizer.

No both 600.
How about 2.5 kg for $12.90?

http://www.fertilisersonline.com.au/fer ... ?price=-20

Or you can pay $18 for one fifth of that if you want!

https://www.ebay.com.au/sch/i.html?_odk ... r&_sacat=0

I reckon retailers just make up a price that sounds good to them and to hell with what it's really worth.
