Organic fert
Anyone try this?
I used it last year but didn't pay close enough attention. Seems interesting.....(hard little black pellets)

Re: Organic fert
I too would like to know this.. sounds like it could be a great product.. particularly as you say, they are black...The look of Osmocoat just annoys me, especially the native one with the bright blue pellets.

Re: Organic fert
Clinton Nesci used this product today in a demonstration at the Bonsai by the Beach weekend put on by the Waughope Bonsai Club. He highly recommended it.
PS It's a great weekend for bonsai enthusiasts and I would highly recommend it for people to attend next year.

Hi all
I had a look at prices so if you decide to buy here are price comparisons so no one over pays.

Hope this helps.

Re: Organic fert
I use this on my trees and they love it. I was also recommended to use Charlie Carp a local bonsai enthusiast.

Re: Organic fert
Thanks all. You have to shop around a bit. You can get 2.5 kg for about 26 bucks. (and even that is not so cheap!)

Re: Organic fert
They all have the blue pellets. They are wetting agent and dissolve after a few waterings. I will still use osmo as a ''set and forget'' fertilizer.Robsterios wrote:I too would like to know this.. sounds like it could be a great product.. particularly as you say, they are black...The look of Osmocoat just annoys me, especially the native one with the bright blue pellets.

How about 2.5 kg for $12.90?
http://www.fertilisersonline.com.au/fer ... ?price=-20
Or you can pay $18 for one fifth of that if you want!

I reckon retailers just make up a price that sounds good to them and to hell with what it's really worth.
