I would think it took the grower some years to build up those branches on a bare trunk. With all respect to the grower I had a great foundation to begin with. However it still has many years of refining to be done yet and i look forward to taking it to the next level... Thanks Meagi glad you like !!!

This time of the year EE tend to shut down and go into semi dormancy especially in this situation where there has been alot of harsh wind and the soil in the pot had not been touched since early spring, over grown with weeds. So a good clean up and loosening of soil was in order, a fresh few pinches of osmocote and a bath in full sun to hopefulyl snap this baby out of its sleep... There are alot of new shoots which i will attempt to clean and wire over the next few days b4 new buds open...

Good to see bb again antal....I defoliated mine 2 weeks ago
1 jumped back in full force and now fully leaved
Other just starting to bud now but not in a hurry it's not
Maybe in that dormit stage your talking about .

It was nice to work on him again, he is magneficant !!! Yes this dormancy they can slip in and out of is what has made them so successful in this harsh land of ours. They have become part of the native fauna to the point that authoraties dont even need or wish to control them...

Tony, what ever you are doing with this one keep doing it! It is heading in a great direction! A couple more seasons ramification and it will be a killer tree!

Thanks to all, im glad you enjoy them !!! Long ways to go for my trees yet, but i am confident we're heading down the right path for us !!!

Dario i have always in life, what ever i do, strived to develope my individuality. Alot of the time you gotta put them on the line to do so. Sometimes it pays off, sometimes it kicks ya. The trick is to know wether there is merrit in it and then continue to believe. I really appreciate that you took notice !!!

Good way to live (requires backbone and thick skin, and enables one to grow), and well said Antonio:tu2: ...it is hard to not notice!
I hope in time (lots of it) to start along this direction with my trees.

EE collected from the Snowies 4 yrs ago. Had its 1st styling and carve 12 months ago. Lower limbs still need some thickening. Looking for a suitable glazed pot and will do this years work soon!
