Thanks Andrew. Approach over thread graft as it will use less energy from the root stock I'm presuming?

Yeah, to be honest I’m not a big grafter, but I reckon it would be less destructive to the tree if you are not drilling through it and rather just matching up the cambiums.

Dead. Survived 12 months without pushing a bud then finally keeled over. But there's now free space on the bench!
