Crab-apple late bud.

Post by boom64 »

Hi All,
Have had this Crab-apple for a few years, has been a long battle and ramification well that's another story . .Have recently popped a very late bud in a pretty good spot. Hopefully it survives. Have moved the tree to the spot with the most sun as it is starting to get a little on the cold side .Is there anything else I can do to help the cause ?
Cheers John.

You have done everything you can. Crab-apples are very hardy plants and mine are still producing buds in Canberra. The bud will lose its leaves in winter and continue to grow next spring.
