I pinched out the excess growth and noticed some more subsurface lumps higher on the left hand branch.

Ive also found that the branching is dead on top but there is a live vein underneath the branch where the new sprouts are emerging

Update,
Not sure on the direction this is heading in....but im looking forward to repotting in a couple of monthsImageImage

This morning i wrapped some raffia around a branch that i stripped back of leaves and compressed it against an old Jin. hoping to recreate a dead in timeImageImageImageImage
