Japanese Box Forest..Buxus microphylla
It is raining in Daylesford and i cannot do my repotting. Hence i am spending time posting on ABC. I would like to share my Box forest with you as i cleaned it up a little yesterday and spent a bit of time fussing over it. It is a creation that has been together for 5 years now and it sort of depicts my lifes dream. That is, living with nature and training Martial arts in the forest. If you look closely you will see a stone house with a path leading to another part of the Forest where i am doing my Martial Art. I know it is unusual to use box for a forest but the trees were more than mature enough to combine The forest is about 1.2 metres long. I hope you enjoy the pictures. Future plans are to keep pruning for density so the canopy combines a little better.

This is possibly one of my favourites ever! I love it. My dream too!
Is that a little thai-chi mud man? very cool, I think I've seen him and his friends before.

Beautiful setup. Boy that little statue suits the tranquil forest so well. By the way Bhodi, what martial art do you practice? I was thinking of doing martial arts myself actually. Unfortunately last month I was diagnosed with a condition called "Lazy Eye". Unfortunately since then ,it has spread to the rest of my body. ......Lazy arms, lazy legs, lazy bum...................................

Thanks Jester, I practice an art called Tang Soo Tao.and have most of my life. It has become a lifestyle for me. You can go on our website or TST has its own website. Hope that lazyeye invading the rest of your body gets better.
