Coprosma - doing a little pot after Christmas lunch!

Post by Thymetraveller »

I love this tree it's a Coprosma Somethingorother I spotted on the clearance shelf at a nursery and scooped for $8.
I love this pot. It's by Catherine Hearn.

It's elegant, simple, classic, everything the tree isn't. They just don't work together.
To the rescue comes another Aussie pot by Denise Allen.

A much better match....

Organic, muscular, earthy...

That's better!
The first pot won't be lonely for too long - I have a Prunus Elvins in development which will suit it to a tee!
We have some great bonsai potters here!!!

Love the second pot for it. Suits beautifully. It is fun to hunt up the right pot for the right plant isn't it....

Lovely image on the final composition,
Love the new pot combo.

The first pot is lovely too and could see a nice maple in there (or Buxus)
