Small Twisty Pine
Here's a tree that was given me by a good friend. I didn't think too much of it until I started wiring it this week.
The coils are quite regular and artificial and the foliage is very far from the trunk. You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

Re: Small Twisty Pine
The problem is that the coils are too far apart ever to do that, and too regular. So I wired the bugger.Asus101 wrote:thats cool. Once its thick enough to start to fuse on itself and has bark....mmmm tasty shari.
Now when I plant it in the ground, the tree can grow into the wire a bit, thicken up, and hold the twists. Bud grafting later will put foliage wherever I want it.
P.S. There are larger pics and some intermediate pics on my blog.
