Scotts Pine 7 years on

This pine was bought from a local nursury in 2004. This is the first year in a Bonsai pot.

nice peter , starting to bark up, been chasing a nice scotts for awhile, missed a ripper a few years ago in cambewarra, yours has a great trunk :tu:,

No,It was a from a standard plant nursury. It was one of those plants with potenial.

Very nice Peter. Scotts pines are admirable Bonsai and this is no exception. I have a few of them on the go.

A member ( LLK) suggested this pot as she felt the PK pot was a bit small and weak for this tree. So I have repotted.

What do you think?

Yes, I think that pot works. Having seen that admirable pine in real life, I am glad you found something that matches the tree's strength. Thanks for posting the update with photo!

It is an interesting tree Peter :yes:

The new Pot is definitely better, in fact it is also an interesting match, maybe not a perfect choice but when all is added together the weight is spot on :tu:

In my opinion it fits in a quirky way so not sure if there is a better pot again?
