I also cut off a heavy jin that was at the back of the tree and moved it to the front. It blends almost too well.

Another amazing thread Grant. Staggering skills.

I like page two of this thread and the discussion on the pot choice. It's my current thing ... I am trying to better understand how pots are chosen for certain Bonsai. On page two of this thread, You and Treeman were putting Rory to work on his virtual images. :tu:

Again - I was excited by a pot that was deemed too large and too shallow; the pot that you were originally shipping in from Japan.

In the end the tree looks fantastic fitting snugly into its current pot.

Regardless go where my head is at - your Bonsai show us what can be done with vision, skill and patience. Learning...
