Beginning a Pheonix grafted Juniper

Post by fishnfreak »

Not much to comment on now, but a massive acknowledgement to Alpineart and anyone else who have performed this, of the effort that goes into stripping the bark of the deceased Juniper base!

The base is a failed collection from earlier this year.Image

Hi Fishnfreak , nice trunk for a Phoenix . Stripping for the novice get out there with a pressure washer and it blows it off with ease . Mine is a 2250 PSI with a dirt blaster and it rips it off in 10 minute flat .

Look forward to seeing this progress .

Cheers . Alpine

Hi Fishnfreak , should work on a 1500 psi if you have the rotary dirt blaster lance not the standard lance . If not simply soak it over night or leave it out in the rain for a good while to soak the bark and hit it then .

Cheers . Alpine
