Needle juniper / Shimpaku

Post by alpineart »

This was a straight twin trunk needle juniper pot plant purchased quite some time ago . I wired and twisted it around and placed a few shimpaku juniper grafts onto the base

. Time for a good hard hack to expose the movement

All but 1 grafted shimp' survived so I removed it and approach grafted 2 fresh cuttings onto the lower trunk wired them up and compressed it a little more .

Potted up and that will do for now .
