Haven’t uploaded this pine yet, it was one I purchased from bonsai south for the Mauro Stemberger work shop mid year. But due to family emergency I couldn’t be there for his work shop. (Spewn)
Ended up sitting at Leong’s shop for a few more months before I got to style it.
Now it take prime spot on my bench

Re: My new pine
Geez I like that initial styling Pebble - good work! I like the lip on the pot too. Further, I am envious of what appears to be an excellent workshop too!
Add to that the use of the word Spewin’ and what we have is a ripper post. Well done!

Re: My new pine
What lies beneath!
Very nice, Did you add to the trunk bend or was it already there?
I was just staring at a JBP, picked up at Bonsai south, no less and wondering if I might do some wiring on it now before de-candling in early Jan. It's only a $35 job, trunk is about 3-4 cm diameter, no where near as impressive. It will make a very nice informal upright.
Put me down with MJL as loving the use of 'spewn'. Some Aussie jargon thrown into the bonsai lexicon never goes astray(a).

Re: My new pine
Jiro, couldnt agree more. no most of the bends were all there already. just uncovered the tree with in.
No idea: I did consider a semi cascade, there was a perfect branch there for it. (now a jin)
i was much more drawn to the informal upright for this tree.
