My New Journey to JBP

I finally bit the bullet and started a new journey on working on big quality pines. I’ve never thought I would have this opportunity but i’m glad I did. I sold some of my trees and upgraded to higher level trees.

These are my recent works. I’m still in the process of learning and we never stop learning new things anyway.

Hi PJames,

A series of wonderful progressions. Well done.

Your post, along a number of recent posts by other members of this forum, has convinced me that I would be better off to move from a large range of experimental pre-bonsai to a smaller array of quality stock to work on.

I guess we all get to that rubicon at some point - it’s just when we decide to cross it.

Cheers for the post.

Bonsai teaches me patience.

Great collection of JBP's to be spending some quality relax time working with PJames. ...BIG! I bet they are helping to build confidence.
They look to be thriving under your care - super

Thanks MJL. I already made that shift couple of years ago now. I started to sell my unwanted trees, although they are still good but I need to make room and extra cash to purchase new once. I sold some of my good ones as well. I still kept couple of the experimental pre-bonsai for trial and errors.

Thanks alpineart :) yes they are heavy but i don't want to past the opportunity to own such high quality pines that have plenty of potential.

I'm planning to go down on your way sometime and check some of your big junipers' progress.

Cheers
