I do notice you are getting algae growing on the surface of the p/mix. Let them dry out a bit before watering. Junipers are very tolerant of less than average water at the roots. In fact they probably prefer it.
Thanks for that, I've been watering them like a deciduous tree... I'll let them dry out a bit more. The surface was top dressed with sphagnum moss and it turned dark green (that's the algae I'm assuming) very quickly after applying the fertilizer bags.

Hi, I'm looking to get some itoigawa too myself. Any idea where can I get them? I'm in Melbourne. Happy to ship from other states if that's required.

Try some of the bonsai nurseries otherwise certain growers ie treeman, shibui may have them.....

i did around 100 cuttings this year see how it goes.

I can never keep any for my own projects.

Hi, I just started growing bonsai last few years. I want to get some Itoigawa too. Do you guys have any idea where I can get them? I'm in Melbourne. I am happy to ship from other states.
