shohin little shimpaku

Guys this is a little semi cascade juniper . Needs a hair cut and its winter here so it browns off bit . Trunk has actually thickened suprisingly in the last few years . Shari needs exposing again . thought some might like ....

Wow, that’s seriously browned off for winter. What temps are you getting Matthew. Mine go a burgundy, rust colour here in Melb. Sweet cascade by the way. :tu:

anywhere between -1 and occasionaly -5 but this years winter so far has been wetter and alittle warmer

That's adorable. I especially like the shari and how it twists along with the tree. It's why I've started twisting all my younger stock instead of just bending. :tu:
