Hey James,
I'm the same as Petra, bottle brushes and the like. But I don't get rashes, but lots of tiny blisters, only for a day or two.

aaa me too,I am sarting to dislike the sharp Junipers after so many years as i get a pain in parts of my hands that feel like i have a splinter and turns slightly pink.

It feels as if someone has left a sowing needle in my hand and i have to dig it out.

My BMX gloves fix the problem, but i like having the smell of juniper on my hands after working on them and being able to feel the tree,,,
funny but it doesnt happen with pines.

Hope your rash clears, try some $20 BMX full finger gloves from most bike shops, they will never brake and you can wash them, Also if you decide like me to take a stack at 40km keep the skin on your hands(sort of).
