Opinions on Squamata

Post by Andrew F »

Good Morning All,

Repotted my favourite Juniper today and gave it a slight hair cut, hopefully opening it up enough for everyone to see some sort of potential in it.

Feel free to give your critique and imput as always.

Hi Drew,
Out of the 3 pictures, I like the last as the preferred front.

The biggest thng that view has over the others is trunk movement.
Branches need to be shortened, thinned and wired too :)

I agree with mick because the movement of the trunk is the nicest of them
a tree ( unless formal upright or broom) shodu not really have a straight section of trunk poking vertically out of the ground. Trees need Movement and shape straight from the soil to provide interest.
