Consider styling the tree with a broad, rounded crown, which is the natural shape of these trees. The conical shape with straight downward slanted branches is typical of pines that get snow laden, not deciduous trees.

Also, I agreed with the suggestion to grow out a strong leader to taper the top. With several trees with chopped, then carved tops, growing new tops generally gives a better result. Depends on carving skills.

Sorry to be a stick in the mud iliya, but styling a pear (in fact any deciduous material) like a pine tree is (IMO) not the way to go anymore.

, we should be slowly building branches in an upward direction (about 45 degrees more or less) and slowly so there is lots of movement and ramification as they go. I realize this is a slow method but really the best in the long run.
