It's Plum Time

This is a great time of the year, the birds are singing and the plums are flowering.
I may have mentioned a couple of times before that I like plums. I like to dig them and I like to grow them.
Here are a few that needed their photos taken so I am now sharing.

I really like number 2, I agree with you on number 3, I think the second picture is a better front.
Would you talk us through your plans for the last tree.

Tree 4 has a history Kirky, a mad idea that didn't work.
This tree doesn't ramify like the other plums and it doesn't have any thorns - so maybe its not a plum but maybe an apricot? It flowers poorly and has never had a fruit. The problem of digging trees from the scrub is they don't come with name tags. The plan is to cut the branches much shorter all around and see what buds pop, repot next year and then reevaluate.

Thanks Watto, I did not realise that not all Plums ramify equally. That explains a lot I have a few that just sit.
They may need to move on to create room for ones that do
