Dwarf Crepe Myrtle

It drinks 2 of those water trays a day. When it's really hot, 4 or 5!

Trunk diameter at the base about 25mm
Age about 20 years.

Excuse the bad picks but couldn't be bothered doing them again

Lovely!! Probably my favourite tree for bonsai. I have just acquired one from PeterB and can’t wait until autumn. Mine are good indicator trees too, heat stress is displayed early and prompts an early watering occasionally. I didn’t know water trays were a thing for these!

Impressive blooms and tree, Mike! Do you only keep it in the tray when it's flowering?
