Some pics of some Cotoneaster Microphylla I’m working on.
Two years old from seed and have had just been cut back to replace leaders and get taper.

Re: A couple of cotoneaster
Great material for smaller sized bonsai.
Just a question on the species name. Were these from seed purchased and labelled as microphylla?
I have what appears to be the same plant. Initially I also thought microphylla because of the very small leaves but someone else says C. damerii.
Does anyone know what differences to identify microphylla or damerii?

Re: A couple of cotoneaster
The seeds were collected from some labelled as macro.
I really don’t think there is much difference - although all I can tell is that the leaves of dammeri are slightly larger?
They are probably all the same or hybrids between.
