Re: Argentine Ombu
OH MY !! I was about to post a thread asking if these were available in Australia .....(i'm getting weepy) I have been searching for one for a long time They are native to my homeland Argentina and I cannot return for some time I want to create a small bonsai to keep here .....such fond memories of playing on the behemoths as a child ....I asked family to send me seeds but getting anything from Sth america is a nightmare ......... Oh I am so pleased right now!!!! they have a deep spiritual signifigance amongst the indigenous peoples and for me personally ......... I am glad I typed in ombu and was led here before posting a thread ........ Literal tears !!!!

And every gale of wind a curious song.
The Heavens were an oracle, and spoke
Divinity: the Earth did undertake
The office of a priest; and I being dumb
(Nothing besides was dumb) all things did come
With voices and instructions..."
