Ficus virens

Post by wattynine »

Have all of these for around ten years and always in restrictive pots, on reflection would like now to pot them up larger and see where they go. I do like the way virens ages in the trunk, and the new copper foliage when it has bud burst is beautiful.

Number 1 and 5 have been freely re-homed.
Number 2 I will be keeping and re-potting into a much larger pot based on the success of doing that with number 3 and 4 (same tree).
You should see this tree after a little more than a year in a big pot almost twice as thick.
Watch this space for re-posting.

This is the one in the big tub, so tempted to take it out this season and trim/pot/wire but another year in a big pot can't hurt...right?

Great looking Tree Watty, the new foliage colour is a real treat. Will follow with interest. Cheers John.
