Re: PJF_90 degree turn
Here you go Jake, can you keep a secrete haha..and its that simple .
Your fortnight feeds are a good start my friend from spring to when heat (growth) stops..your tree will dictate...where I am the autumn temps are still going strong with 22 to 26,27 days and growth still pouring out that is the ideal growing temp weather with good humidity for growing figs
When temps go over 28 to 30 for prolonged periods hold off liquid ferts, the figs go into a temporary hibernation or shut down period if you like, so don t waste time, money and fert, again till temps come back to where stated above.
My feeding
The same as you fortnightly liquid feeds and a copious amount osmocote about a inch wide placed continuously around the pot, yes a hell of alot, little demo on one for you.
Replaced 6 monthly
Any fert is good.. I have tried many, but I was told to give this liquid a red hot go few seasons ago and the results speak for them self, the simple kicker for me.
As you know there are many many growing points on a fig, you must be very consistent with feed.
Hope that helps a bit Jake
fig alley.. some of the 40 odd I am running
Someone is hogging all the run off on the front image fig

Cheers Mark
Presently I am working on some wide canopy figs, I believe you like some of that styling, so hopefully we can get some up in future for a look.
